Description of Responsibilities:

Cousins is seeking a qualified individual to support the Investments and Asset Management Teams. The individual will provide analytical support related to the Cousins portfolio including property forecasting, lease analysis and portfolio management. The analyst will also be responsible for performing advanced analytical and financial activities evaluating potential investment opportunities including acquisitions, dispositions, and development. The analyst should be prepared to develop and maintain a variety of financial models and present financial analysis in an accurate and informative manner.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex financial analysis and modeling with minimal supervision, including cash flow projections, ARGUS valuation models, IRR and NPV calculations and sensitivity analysis.
  • Develop and maintain Argus and Excel-based models for institutional office and mixed-use assets; manage annual budget and reforecast process.
  • Evaluate lease proposals with net effective rent analysis; review and analyze legal documents and other materials as part of leasing process.
  • Underwrite and conduct due diligence on potential acquisition, disposition and development opportunities.
  • Perform on-going market analysis and transaction research.
  • Assist with preparation and review of portfolio level reports.
  • Assist with the creation of quarter-end materials for the Executive Team and the Board of Directors.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Seeking recent college graduate or candidate with 1-2 years of real estate financial analysis or finance related experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Real Estate with excellent academic credentials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge and skills with Argus Enterprise preferred
  • Detail oriented with clear/consistent focus on the accuracy and completeness of work product.
